MARTINICA, LA MASCOTA DE RUMANIA

Martinica is a Carpathian brown bear. The Carpathian brown bear lives in the forests from Carpathian Mountains.

Martinica is a happy young bear. The adult bears are called Mos Martin (Old  Martin).

Martinica’s family is very large (4000 in Romania) but he has friends in whole Europe.

The brown bear is recognized as a national and state animal in several European countries.

Also Martinica has two friends in the sky (The Big bear and the Little bear constellations) which can be seen from whole Europe
